FUEL SCARCITY HITS NIGERIA

It seems fuel scarcity is back in the country. Fuel queues were spotted in various parts of Lagos
which shows that the 291 billion debt owned fuel marketers is now having its effect on petroleum supply chain.

Fuel marketers refused to dispense fuel while motorists queued hoping that they would resume sales.
An insider in the down stream sector disclosed that the situation will become worse in few days revealing that only NNPC now import fuel because marketers have been forced to down tool due to huge subsidy dept.

Unless the government fulfills its duties to marketers, otherwise the situation will not get better,he said.
