Uniport graduate alledgedly killed by a reckless police van taking a wrong route

A promising young man named Oghenekevwe Richard Edah, who was also a mechanical Engineering graduate lost his life yesterday. His life was cut short by a reckless police van that left
his lane and took a one way drive.
Richard who his birthday was yesterday was returning from the church, stood along Assemblies of God junction in Alakhia when he was hit by the police van driven by inspector John kanu. The inspector on hitting the man tried to zoom off before he was accosted by onlookers who forced him to take the young man to the hospital.
The police officer dropped him at Uniport teaching hospital and lied that they picked him from NNPC filling station at Rumuosi. The nurse who attended to them took the details of one of them in uniform. Edah oghene is supposed to go for service next year with Batch A of the National Youth ervice Corp. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
